Sustainability

This monument is ready for the future

Maximum insulation, solar panels and a heat recovery system ensure optimum sustainability.

While the redevelopment of an existing building is in itself very sustainable, it naturally brings challenges.

For example, the monumental facades, floors, roofs, window frames and windows already provide a nice limitation when it comes to insulation. Nevertheless, we have made a maximum effort to realize high-quality floor, wall and roof insulation. Where possible, the windows are fitted with insulating double glazing. The installations for water, heating and cooling work with air heat pumps and solar panels are installed where possible. A heat recovery system provides the building with good ventilation. All installations will be connected to an energy registration and monitoring system, allowing efficient energy consumption and maintenance of all systems.

At Copper & Co we also purchase sustainably. We prefer to use responsible local products and our suppliers have a sustainability label. We will also implement CO2 compensation measures for our guests' journeys.
